Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov inspected the implementation of the Head of State’s instructions to strengthen the industrial potential of the regions through the development of special economic zones and industrial zones and by improving the efficiency of their operations, as set out in the Address “Kazakhstan in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Current Challenges and Their Solutions through Digital Transformation.”
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, during a working trip, reviewed the implementation of the Head of State’s instructions on developing scientific, applied, and high-tech areas in the nuclear industry. The key objective is the formation of research infrastructure and the strengthening of the sector’s scientific and technological potential.
During the Government session, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov issued a number of instructions following the programmatic interview of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev entitled “Kazakhstan Has Entered a New Stage of Modernization” published in the Turkistan newspaper.
A meeting of the Council on the Transition to a Green Economy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov. Participants included the leadership of the ministries of ecology and natural resources and energy, the akims of Pavlodar Region and the city of Almaty, heads of major energy companies, and representatives of the expert community.
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov held a meeting on issues of digitalization of the healthcare sector within the framework of the tasks set by the Head of State to improve the quality of medical services.

On behalf of the Head of State, in honor of Republic Day, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov presented state awards to veterans of labor, employees of the railway, mining and metallurgical, and energy industries, as well as representatives of medicine, education, science, and public service.
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov took part in the International Forum dedicated to the Day of Social Protection System Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan and, on the eve of the professional holiday, presented state awards on behalf of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to representatives of the social and labor sector.
During the plenary session of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where draft laws on the republican budget for 2026–2028 and on the amount of transfers were considered.

The report was presented by Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Zhaslan Madiyev, along with representatives of telecommunications operators and internet service providers.
