Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov held a meeting with President of Finland Alexander Stubb, who arrived on an official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan. Attention was paid to trade, economic and investment cooperation, interaction in industry, energy, digital, transport and logistics, and water sectors, as well as in the financial sphere and agriculture.
On behalf of the Head of State, in honor of Republic Day, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov presented state awards to veterans of labor, employees of the railway, mining and metallurgical, and energy industries, as well as representatives of medicine, education, science, and public service.

Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov met with representatives of Kazakh IT companies to discuss the support of AI startups in the fields of education, sports, and industry within the framework of the tasks set by the Head of State in his Address to the Nation “Kazakhstan in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Current Challenges and Their Solutions Through Digital Transformation.”
The Digital Headquarters, chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, is working on the prompt and systematic implementation of the tasks set by Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in his Address to the Nation “Kazakhstan in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Current Challenges and Their Solutions Through Digital Transformation.”

At a Government session chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, measures to reduce the shadow economy were discussed. Minister of Finance Madi Takiyev and Chairman of the Financial Monitoring Agency Kairat Bizhanov reported on the ongoing work in this area.

Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov took part in the plenary session of Kazakhstan Energy Week – 2025 / XVI Eurasian Forum KAZENERGY on the theme “New Energy Order: Focus on Middle Powers.” The event brought together more than 2,500 delegates from over 50 countries, representing more than 300 companies. Among the participants were heads of international energy organizations, leaders of major oil and gas corporations, and ministers of energy.
