At the Government session chaired by Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov, the issue of the development and digitalization of the housing construction sector was considered.

Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov, as part of a working visit to the Akmola Region, inspected the implementation of the President’s instructions on strengthening energy security, increasing new generation capacities, and developing the region’s infrastructure. Particular attention was given to the implementation of a strategically important project in the city of Kokshetau to construct a combined heat and power plant (CHP).
A meeting of the headquarters for ensuring economic growth was held at the Government under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin, where the development of the light industry sector was discussed.
At the Government session chaired by Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov, Chairman of the Management Board of National Company KazAvtoZhol Darhan Imanashev reported that, in accordance with the instructions of the Head of State, measures are being implemented nationwide to improve the quality of highways and eliminate existing deficiencies.
Minister of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlan Sauranbayev reported at the Government session on the current state and development plans for the country’s road sector.
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov chaired a Government session on the development of the road sector. Particular attention was given to the implementation of the Head of State’s instructions delivered at the extended Government meeting regarding new highway projects, including the development of the interregional road network.
Seven years of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s presidency have become a period of deep and consistent transformation of Kazakhstan’s socio-economic and political development model. These years coincided with a complex global context — the pandemic, the slowdown of the global economy, inflationary and logistical shocks, geopolitical turbulence, as well as the need to eliminate internal economic and political imbalances formed over previous decades.
Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov and President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Masato Kanda discussed the development of investment cooperation and financing of infrastructure and socially significant projects in line with the strategic priorities outlined by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
