A meeting between President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić and Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov took place at the Government of Kazakhstan. In follow-up to the high-level talks, measures to further expand trade and economic cooperation were reviewed.
Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov held a meeting with Chairman of the Management Board of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) Nikolai Podguzov. The parties discussed the implementation of projects in priority sectors of the economy and prospects for further expansion of investment cooperation.
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić arrived in Kazakhstan on an official visit at the invitation of Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. At the airport, the President of Serbia was welcomed by Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov.
During a working visit to Karaganda Region, Deputy Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbayev inspected the region’s preparedness for the flood season, assessed the condition of key hydraulic structures, and visited settlements in Bukhar-Zhyrau, Karkaraly, Shet, and Abai districts that are at risk of flooding.
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov chaired a meeting to review the progress of the “Data Center Valley” project in line with the tasks set by the President at the Fifth Meeting of the National Kurultai.
Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov received Governor of Orenburg Region of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Solntsev. The parties reviewed current issues of interregional cooperation in trade, industrial collaboration, transport and logistics infrastructure, as well as the development of cultural and humanitarian ties.
At the Government session, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Nurzhan Nurzhigitov reported on water availability forecasts and measures being taken in preparation for the upcoming vegetation period.
At the Government session, Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov reported on preparations for the spring fieldwork campaign and presented the projected structure of sown areas for 2026.
At the Government session chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, progress in preparations for the spring fieldwork campaign was reviewed in light of the tasks set by the Head of State. Reports were delivered by Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov, Minister of Energy Yerlan Akkenzhenov, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Nurzhan Nurzhigitov, as well as heads of key grain-producing regions.
Another set of issues related to the implementation of the new Tax Code was discussed at the sixth meeting of the Project Office chaired by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin.
