Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov chaired a meeting of the Board of Directors of JSC "National Managing Holding Baiterek" on matters related to the further transformation of the Holding as part of the instructions of the Head of State to strengthen support for the real sector of the economy and attract investments.
At the session of the Government, Vice Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhomart Aliyev reported on the planned measures under the Waste Management Concept for 2026–2030.
At the session of the Government chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, the draft Concept for Managing All Types of Waste for 2026–2030 was approved. The document was developed as part of the instructions of the Head of State to improve the environmental situation in the country. Vice Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Zhomart Aliev presented the key approaches. Reports from regional akims and a representative of the sectoral organization Ecojer were also heard.
At the session of the Government chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, issues of developing special economic and industrial zones involved in the formation of cross-border hubs were reviewed. Deputy Minister of Industry and Construction Iran Sharkhan reported on the progress of infrastructure construction and the expansion of territories.
At the session of the Government, Minister of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlan Sauranbayev reported on the transport infrastructure support for cross-border hubs.
At the session of the Government chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, the progress of forming cross-border hubs was reviewed within the framework of the President’s instructions to establish Kazakhstan as a key logistics hub of Eurasia. Minister of Trade and Integration Arman Shakkaliyev reported on the current status of project implementation and infrastructure development.
At the Government session chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, the issue of developing cross-border hubs was considered. Reports were delivered by Minister of Trade and Integration Arman Shakkaliev, Minister of Transport Nurlan Sauranbayev, Vice Minister of Industry Iran Sharkhan, as well as heads of several regions.
At a meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin, the Concept for the Creation and Development of Science Cities for 2025–2035 was presented.
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov held a meeting on the development of aviation hubs and the automobile road sector within the framework of the instructions of the Head of State. The meeting was attended by the heads of the ministries of transport, finance, energy, industry and construction, as well as the akims of the cities of Astana and Almaty.
