Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov took part in the joint meeting of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin with the heads of delegations of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation member states, as well as in the meetings of the Council of Heads of Government of SCO member states in restricted and expanded formats, held in Moscow (Russian Federation).
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov held a meeting on improving the social support system for the population and the new mechanism for regulating the activities of private schools under the per-capita financing model.
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov familiarized himself with the activities of the National Scientific Oncology Center (NSOC) and the Biomedical Research Center of Nazarbayev University. Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov held the 18th meeting of the Kazakhstan–European Union Dialogue Platform on issues of current cooperation and further improvement of the business climate in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The meeting was attended by heads of diplomatic missions, chambers of commerce and industry, and representatives of the business community of EU countries.
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov chaired a meeting of the Board of Directors of JSC “National Company Kazakh Invest”, which reviewed the implementation progress of the Head of State’s instructions on attracting investment into the national economy.
At the Government session chaired by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin, the formation of a pool of projects in priority sectors of the economy within the framework of the “Investment Order” program was discussed.
