A decrease in accident rates has been recorded across the national highway network this year. Compared to the same period last year, the number of road traffic accidents dropped by 10%, the death toll by 14%, and the number of injured by 11%. This was reported at the Government session by Minister of Transport Nurlan Sauranbayev.

Currently, 870,000 people work in Kazakhstan's transport sector—representing nearly one in ten employed individuals in the country. Due to the active development of transport infrastructure, the industry's workforce requirement stands at approximately 57,000 specialists. Around 1.1 million people currently work in Kazakhstan's agro-industrial complex (AIC), of whom 595,000, or 55%, are blue-collar specialists. Taking into account the development of the sector, the AIC will require approximately 73,000 qualified blue-collar workers by 2035. Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov announced this at the Government session.
The launch of new production facilities, technological upgrading of enterprises, and growth in construction volumes generate new demand for qualified blue-collar personnel. The total requirement for specialists across sectors supervised by the Ministry of Industry and Construction stands at 36.7 thousand people. Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yersaiyn Nagaspaev announced this at the Government session.
By 2035, Kazakhstan's economic demand for personnel will reach 2.9 million people, of whom 1.8 million will be blue-collar specialists. In this regard, the workforce training system must operate proactively to ensure qualifications align with current and future economic needs. Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population Askarbek Yertaev announced this at the Government session.
Under the chairmanship of Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov, the first Government session in its renewed composition was held following the elections to the Kurultai. In accordance with the Constitutional Law "On the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan", the new Minister for Emergency Situations Murat Mukhanov took the oath.
Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Saiasat Nurbek reported at the Government session on the work being carried out to prepare for the new academic year and to establish interaction between universities and enterprises on personnel training issues.
In Kazakhstan, comprehensive preparation of educational organizations for the upcoming academic season is being completed. A special place in the ongoing work is occupied by updating the content of curricula in line with the norms of the New Constitution, digital transformation of enrolment processes, expansion of the inclusive environment, and the phased integration of artificial intelligence tools.

The main goal is to make public services simpler and more accessible for citizens.
