During the Government session, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov issued a number of instructions following the programmatic interview of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev entitled “Kazakhstan Has Entered a New Stage of Modernization” published in the Turkistan newspaper.
At the Government meeting chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, the progress of preparations of the country’s national teams for the 25th Winter Olympic Games in 2026 was reviewed. Despite the decline in global oil prices and external economic factors, Kazakhstan’s budget system is demonstrating resilience, and all social obligations will be fulfilled in full. Minister of Finance Madi Takiyev reported on budget execution for 11 months at the Government session.
